Tips & Tricks - Basic customization Galaxy Browsers

In this post we learn how we can make basic customization to Galaxy Browsers
First we must choose Settings / Installation / Options and change the field Browser List mode to Windows Grid.

Exit and logon again into Galaxy application.
Choose Commercial / Sales Entry List
Right click on anyone column of browser and select Options

Select from Normal tab to Show Footer and Group Footer

Now we put a format condition to browser that show all the lines that have negative total value in color red

Select Add expresion , from option Fields choose Total value and set condition < 0

Now choose field BackColor and change it to red

And that’s the result….

Now we see how make basic format to a numeric field of browser , Total value

Right click on column Total value and choose Behavior

Select from Normal tab Summary type Sum

From Advance tab and Β pick and chooseΒ Β Display Format , SummaryItem , Group Format and at field FormatString write thisΒ {0:0,0.00}

Now you can see sum of Total Value at footer of browser

Last thing that can add to ours browser is Auto Filter row that can set conditions to our browser very quickly

Right click on anyone column of browser and selectΒ Show Auto Filter row

And that’s the result….

Tip : if you want to see additional Average of Total value of sales entries above right click on sum of Total value on footer band Β and select Add new Summary / Average
